Update (6 Sept) : Starting to take shape. Bit irked by Firefox 3 applying some stupid anti-aliasing algorithm to my PNG files. Sounds like it can be sorted from v3.6 onwards. I'm appalled to say that the PNGs look better in IE8. (Now I've said that I will have to go and use some antiseptic mouth rinse!) Next stage is tidying up the CSS; it's a bit hacked together at the moment.
